Workshop: Impacts of climate change and mitigation in the Arctic region: response, feedback, and tipping elements

We will organize a 3-day international workshop under the theme ‘Impacts of climate change and mitigation in the Arctic region: response, feedback, and tipping elements’. The aim of this workshop is to synthesize the current scientific progress and discuss a potential joint project targeting the upcoming ‘Toppforsk’ call that could include the participants as partners. We target both Norwegian and international researchers who are leading/have led or participated in projects in the topic of climate mitigation, climate change responses, and feedbacks on land and the ocean, as well as tipping elements as keynote speakers of the workshop. The workshop will be open to the Norwegian research community, and we expect around 30-40 participants.
